I need a theme for the kitchen. I like quotes and a wall of revenue. How can I get together?

The walls are painted a deep mustard color and the trim is red East. Nice contrast, eh? Well, I really wanted to make a theme cafe in Paris, but the husband says no. So I planned a theme Manager fat, but not so keen on it. I really want to run their quotes above cabinets and a wall like a recipe backsplash. I like the idea of themes, but what I really need is decorating ideas, but no country, fruit, roosters, or Tuscany.

To appease your husband, who seems almost as color-phobia like mine, you might consider using simply a clear polyurethane (non yellowing) to write the quotes on your walls. If you have semi-gloss paint, use a poly flat and the words appear beautiful and looks so cool. If your painting is an eggshell or satin, use a semi-gloss poly and It looks awesome. You might consider using only black and white as your accent colors and making it a fun Caribbean theme, with lots of fresh fruit in a bowl, a few colored pictures / photos on the walls of the islands, a feeling of space and light with some curtains at the windows or shutters plantation. You can even get one of the fans Ceiling clever that resembles teak carved palm leaves. Many carved wooden bowls (which usually benefit men's ears ... they love wood) and the room is truly unique and special for you, but also very warm and welcoming.
