Anyone familiar with the German MTV show "Popetown" and do you think they could show in the States
Here is the promo copy for the show, it sounds good to me but I think there may be a brewing controversy. Is this show could be considered offensive? The fictional town which gives its name to the series is home to a 77-year-old, plump, childlike little man with an oversized hat - a Pope who loves to play hide and seek, do not wash for months, wants to drink Coca Cola, but is not allowed to kick back and enjoy through the halls on a cross-shaped pogo stick. True Popetown leaders are three corrupt cardinals who live in a wellness spa hidden behind a bookshelf, and who spend their days pondering how they can become the richest men in the world. Other residents of the city include a young priest, a nun dim-witted and a cardinal with a preference Sexual for exotic animals.
Offensive yes. Possibility for funny ... Perhaps ... Americana but are varied, which seems specific
