High School
school?
I am preparing to go to school tomorrow (August 29). I'm terrified the go, and I'm worried about making friends because all my other friends attending another school since they changed all borders high school this past year. I intend to be on the swim team and join a club or two. I'm really nervous and have cried myself to sleep some nights are so worried about it. I'm really nervous about what children think about me since I am the chronic pain and many young people think I'm faking pain if they are very mean to me. I will be a sophomore (first year in high school where I live becuse your first year is in jr. High) Any suggestions to make this transition?
It is OK to be nervous. This is normal. Everyone gets a little nervous on their first day of anything. I remember the first day of college let me tell you, I was a nervous wreck. I had to go to a school quite different when I'm walking on campus and buildings. Besides all that I lived in the dormitory. Living with strangers. I'm sick and I thought back to an error. But you know what. You get over it. You should not care what others think of you. Start fresh. Your in a new school. Take advantage of this situation. You're in a school where nobody you know. So why not start over. This is the best thing to go to a new school. You get to be the best person you want people to know. I think it is great that you want to get involved in your school. This is a great way to learn about other people. Again this is what I did in college. I joined a club and I was a little nervous. I thought perhaps I should not do or people will not like me. But at the end of the year I went with a bunch of new friends and a bf (ok I did not have that. I tried make you feel better .. lol.) Well, I hope I helped a little. It is allowed to feel nervous. Just take a deep breath and go with it.
