Information on a table AndrewWyeth called "The Corner" painted in 1952. Brush with sec. About 9x12? Was it ever made into prints.? It was framed at Hardcastle in Wilmington. The cons label says "Phelps Collection". Any information would be a great help.
I found this information on the source site below ... This painting can be confused with another paniting he has called "the corner" ... I am an Avid fan Wyeth .. Original art in small print on watercolor paper of Andrew Wyeth watercolor in 1953 paint and dry brush "The Corner". The subject is what remains of the Mother Archie's church at the corner of Ring Road and Bullock in Chadds Ford, PA. The original painting is the property of the Society of Fine Arts in Wilmington, Delaware. this fine print was published by Art in America in 1962 as one of twelve different images reproduced in "Four Seasons Portfolio. We are told by a gallery specializing in prints that Wyeth is the only authorized publication printing of this work, but the number of photos published is unknown.
