What is the slit illuminated by a digital clock? I am a Japanese.
I found this sentence in a novel American police.
I guess this is what it means: As numbers http://www.bonte.co.uk/myBlog/wp-images/Images/Blog/Clock3.png in digital clocks are produced by segmented blocks. Thus, the light slit is probably referring to these blocks. Hope this helps!
