I am replacing a bridge lower back molar soon. would you go with a mint collection of porcelain /?
surf the web it seems that there are many iron bridges be sold. for money, is it worth the extra money? What also gold leaf? My -gold/porcelain last bridge lasted 20 years. i grind and wear a mouth guard every night. Thank you, Akua
Do not a non-or low-golden bridge, with or without the porcelain. Always pay that little extra for a pot of gold high, and it will be repaid as an investment long term that will last very long. The high gold content is better tolerated by the gums, and if it is combined with porcelain, they will link very well together. If you try an NTI device as Albert suggested above, it should be used on a short term. If used for long period, the back teeth tend to invade and cause complications. You can not go wrong with a full coverage mouthguard.
