Tray Very
I have a ceramic plate to replace a cracked one in my convection oven Micrwv GE-How do I install it?
This plateau ceramic floor for the oven, and has a rubber band around the perimeter. I'm afraid to remove the old board as it is cracked in 3 major parts. Is there something important under it that can be damaged if one of the key pieces it? After removal of the damaged tank, then I just put the new one without additional adhesive or caulking?
You have to cut the silicone between the tray and walls. Then remove all old pieces of board, get a lot wider than the silicone as you can, then install new paper tray and silicone around all edges. Just do not overdo it. Silicone is there to prevent spills and other crap going on it during use. Let dry a good 24 hours before using. Good luck!
